  1. Air Force Ted!! This was the coolest episode. To hear the joy in your voice... especo after hearing the timbre of last week on the post-M episode, it brought a HUGE smile to my face.

The excitement in your voice was contagious, and it made me want to run. (however I'm working at the computer instead) The aircraft sound amazing and I can understand why you're proud. You, and your brothers and sisters in United States Military service sure make me proud. Thanks!

Outstanding effort on the Marathon. Sorry I'm so late in replying, but I've gobbled up 14 of your episodes since starting listening just a few/three weeks ago... and I wanted to continue in crono order as I knew I'd be caught up within a month. About the M, it would have been so easy for so many of us runners to quit the race knowing there would be another day... but it really shows your character and determination to FINISH the race.

Not only because of the extreme physical effort, but for the reason that impresses me the most, and that's the fact you could have stopped the race and saved your 'first race time' for another race. For me it would be easier to say 'DNF' instead of having a finishing time on your permanent running record that was outside the range you thought you trained for. (I know I feel that way with my first 1/2 M race last fall) To me, that's way more respectable, and speaks volumes of your character, then if you had ripped off a great run at your goal pace... or faster.

Thanks for all you do for the runners around the world, and for me. I consider you a close friend although we've never spoke, met, or even traded an eMail.

    Thanks from Seattle,

    Douglas
